Unlock the secrets of drawing with this essential course.Learn about recording proportions,line,tone,texture,positive and negative spaces.We will cover how to use and teach with a variety of drawing surfaces and materials using wet and dry drawing media.Worksheets will be provided outlining a range of drawing processes for classroom use.

WORKSHOP OUTLINE
This course will explain and demonstrate the use of artist models in Visual Arts Education.The workshop will look at why and how to use artist models in the classroom as well as working through two units step by step,giving tecahers a hands-on practical experience.Teachers will complete the course with knowledge of contemporary artists,appropriate materials and techniques as well as receiving resources(planned units) for use in the classroom.
Saturday 19 March 9am-3pm APpROACHES TO PRINT (primary)

WORKSHOP OUTLINE
Designed for primary teachers,this course will introduce a range of printmaking techniques suitable for use in the classroom,both with and without the use of a press.Techniques covered will include;intaglio,mono-print,stencil print,relief print and press print.This workshop will be a fun,informative,hands-on learning experience with each technique explained and demonstrated(supporting resources will be provided). Participants will make a range of prints to keep,and develop practical skills and ideas to use at school.
